Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I’d find my way being creative. I love the hair industry and everything it has to offer. What I love most is connecting with people through service. As a hairstylist, combining expertise in lived in and manageable hair color with all hair textures, and even hair extensions has been my jam! It's a unique experience to be able to see someone transform and reconnect with themselves in front of a mirror. That's the magic and gift of serving from behind the chair!

I have spent over a decade focusing on building a complete beauty brand and committing to industry trends through beautiful hair. After obtaining my Bachelor's degree from Kent State University, I pushed further to receive an Advanced Cosmetology degree from Brown Aveda Institute in greater Cleveland. After working five years behind the chair, I ventured to open By Carla Marcelle. Since opening, hair extensions and textured hair has become the focus of my salon vision and has grown into, Frē Salon and Extensions. This propelled my expertise in hair extensions, hair color, and styling which has been commissioned by entertainment producers, athletes, celebrities, and on-air talent across the country. I am also a L'OREAL Mizani Artist and educator as well a Platform Invisible Bead Extensions® educator, and creator of the virtual course, The Art of Texture.

My passions and purpose revolve around people by serving authentically and inclusively.
